Woohoo!

I got a call from my doctor's office today and the bone scan was all clear. We still have to figure out the source of the pain, but at least it isn't cancer! Yippee!

Hi there, Melissa. It's so nice to meet you. I have spent most of the morning reading over all your blogs and must say I am very touched. I, too, give back in a big way to support cancer awareness, especially breast cancer awareness. I make one-of-a-kind cancer beanies and give them to all going through a hair loss illness. I've just moved to the D.C. area and have begun my quest to make a difference. Thank you so much for sharing your life and very successful battle with me and the world. Be so proud in knowing you are truly making such a difference. Many, many smiles, Michele Hirata, the Fat Thumb Chick

That is fantastic news!! You might want to try icing it. And you may also be having a problem with your IT band but are feeling it in your hip. I have had the same issue - fine when running - but not so good resting - that is because it has had a chance to get tight. Be sure to stretch!
