Birthday Boy

Saturday was Jackson's first birthday and he celebrated in style. It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since this little guy joined the world.

He loved his first taste of cupcake, especially the icing.


The kid got more toys than I've seen outside of a Toys R' Us, but he was more interested in the cards and ribbons.
This, when combined with the "Vroom" sound effect, is the sign for ceiling fan. It's also now how we say hello.
Grandma & Granddaddy gave Jackson a wagon for his birthday. I'm really not sure why, after the whole red wagon debacle on my first birthday, but he really enjoyed it. He waved to his subjects as he was pulled through the house.
