Alien Invasion

I'm pretty sure an alien being has taken up residence in my chest and every week when I go to the doctor, she feeds it so it can grow. I got my expanders filled again yesterday and they feel more and more strange to me every time. My left expander has moved inside of me; it has a little metal port that she accesses to insert the saline and that port isn't where it was last week. The distance between the bruises from this week and last is about four inches. We just have to hope that it doesn't completely flip over, because if the port gets around on the back side, she won't be able to fill it any more. It's still moving though, I can feel it every time I take a step. It keeps the rhythm like it's got its own heartbeat. The right side continues to lag behind; partly because it has a little less fluid in it and partly because of the radiation damage to the tissue on that side.

The doctor predicts two more fills will be needed and this will stretch the muscle to bigger than I'll be once everything is finished. I have one fill scheduled for next week and then another the week of Memorial Day. Then, we'll schedule the exchange surgery for late July or early August. Since we're going to the beach at the end of July, and I can't have anything interfere with my beach time, I'll probably do this sometime in August.

I'm still having a hard time visualizing what the finished product will look like. Right now I have the pecs of a world-class body builder with absolutely no other muscle definition on my body. Sexy, I know.
