Dancing With The Star

I'm home from our Gala and everything went really well. Now I'm looking forward to spending the weekend on the couch. I decided to wear the dress that I originally wanted to and found a sweater to wear that covered up the scars.

This is one of the few work events I've been to this year. Most people don't know what's been going on this year and I think the image of me in their mental catalog has long, curly blond hair. It's both interesting and a little uncomfortable to watch people go through the mental, "I know I know this person, but they don't look the same... who is this and what is different about them?"
