Monday Monday

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We stayed in constant motion, helping Kristen, Josh and Jackson move into their new house Thursday and Friday, then heading to Charlottesville bright and early Saturday morning for the UVA-Tech game. Unfortunately my Hoos weren't able to pull out a win, but we had a great tailgate.

I've been to the doctor this morning to follow up on the tamoxifen issue. I've been feeling great since I stopped taking it. Since my risk of recurrence is so high, I have to go back on it, but we decided I wouldn't start taking it again until right after Christmas so that I don't feel bad during the holidays. There is a possibility I might not experience the side effects again, but he's given me something to combat the side effects if they return. I'll go back to see him again in February after I've been taking it again for about a month to see how it's going and for my regular three month checkup.

Somewhere I picked up a nasty cold this weekend and have a sore throat and lots of snot, so cut me a wide berth for the next few days.
