Square Hole, Round Peg

Back from doctor's appointment #2 of the week and everything checked out fine. She's pleased with the way my skin has healed and thinks the big round burn will continue to fade over the next few months. Right now I have the outline of a square around a smaller circle burned into my skin and though it doesn't hurt, it's quite obnoxious to look at. She agrees with Dr. Spira's theory to stop the tamoxifen to see if that's the problem but does think I need to go back on it. She said it's also possible that I'm just having a "delayed reaction" to the chemo and radiation since I "sailed through" treatment so easily. The fun just never ends. I go back to see her in one year!

All of the rads techs came out to see me and check out my new hair growth. Well, the hot guy wasn't there today, so that was a little disappointing, but it's nice to be remembered, especially when they see so many people every day.
