Another Busy Day
I kicked off another busy day with my quarterly appointment with the oncologist. He gave me an A+ and said everything looks good. I can call tomorrow and get my tumor marker score, which is hopefully as low or lower than it was last time.
I do have some weird redness on my breast that he wants me to keep an eye on. If it were on my leg, or any where else on my body, I probably wouldn't even have noticed it. But after cancer, the smallest little change to the area grabs my attention. It actually looks like my skin did during radiation, and feels about the same, but radiation ended ten months ago. Hopefully it's just some sort of rash that will go away in a few days. I rarely let my mind go down the cancer path again, but waiting to see the oncologist, surrounded by sick people, it's hard not to imagine the worst.
I ran house errands for most of the afternoon and ordered a great desk and chair from the unfinished wood store. The locksmith, who was supposed to be here on Thursday, finally showed up today. Now I just need the post office to get on board with the whole delivering mail thing and we'll be good to go.
Back to work tomorrow! Gotta pay for this house somehow.
