Liquid Assets
Who knew I'd be wishing they had left the drains in? By Friday evening, the skin around my incisions and under my arms was accumulating the fluid that would have gone into the drains had they still been there. This is even more uncomfortable than the drains were. I finally broke down and called the doctor just a few minutes ago. Of course she's on vacation. She said it would most likely have to be drained again and the drains will have to be reinserted, because it will just fill back up again. And this will all have to be done with ultrasound, because they can't risk puncturing the implant. So tomorrow, I'm going to try to get into see the other doctor first thing in the morning and then the two docs can talk and decide what to do. I thought this was going to be a straightforward operation. Why does everything have to be so complicated?
