Stupid Fluid

Just back from the doctor where I once again had the fluid drained from the area around my incisions. It's been a week since the last draining session and I think there was as much fluid on the right side as before and less on the left side. I guess this is good news since this was one week's worth of accumulation and last time was just three days worth. The only bad news is the constant threat that the drains may go back in. I'm to call the doctor on Wednesday to give her a status and she'll see what she thinks. Unless the fluid stops, I don't see how I'm going to get away without the drains.

I went back to the office today and other than the fact that I'm completely exhausted, I made out fine. Driving wasn't too bad, I just have to remember to park where I can pull through instead of backing out because all of that turning is a little hard. I think everyone thought I was lazy because I always stopped to let whoever was with me open the door, but those doors got really heavy while I was gone!
