I was excited to get my first haircut since March last night. It really wasn't much of a cut, just a little trim around the ears and neck. Some part of my brain, clearly still damaged from chemo, thought it would be a great idea to get my hair colored as well. I really just wanted to cover the gray and not go too drastically different from my normal color. That was the plan, anyway. Unfortunately it didn't quite pan out that way. It's much darker than it was and has a reddish hue. To say I hate it would be an understatement. I actually thought this morning "well, it didn't take me that long to grow this hair, I could just shave it and start all over." I'm hoping this is just something I'm going to have to get used to, but at least it'll grow out. If I can get someone to take a picture I'll post so you can have a good laugh.
