It's Almost Over...

I might have gotten a little cocky. I was feeling pretty good Friday and Saturday and so I slacked off of taking all of the anti-nausea meds. So Sunday was rougher than it should have been. I've been taking them on schedule since I woke up feeling sick yesterday, but once you get behind, it's hard to catch up again. Today is typically my roughest day of the cycle, so I know it will be over soon.

For those of you who never got to experience chemo with me, here's a picture of something I never plan to do again:

I'm only so happy because I know it's almost over! There usually weren't many smiles during chemo. I'll take it easy for the next few days and hope to soon be on my way back to fighting shape.

A very happy 30th birthday today to Lorin! Happy Birthday, Baby!

You are right, Melissa. It is almost over. I can't believe that you have been battling this for almost 4 months now. I know it has been a long and exhausting battle for you, but you've been such an example that I feel like you had this thing beat long ago. Cancer may have ruled your schedule for the past four months, but it won't rule your life. Your courage and dignity over the last four months have taught me more than I've learned my whole lifetime. So thank you! Thank you (not for having cancer), but for showing us all how to get through the tough times.
