Race For The Cure
We did it! Hoos For A Cure joined with 45,000 of our closest friends and walked 3.1 miles through DC to raise money for breast cancer. At last check, we have raised $2,385. I think I heard one of the speakers say the event raised $4 million. Thank you all for your support of this great cause!
Here's a pic of our crew- I hope you'll consider joining us next year. Kristen and I both are looking forward to being more race ready next year. There was a time, in the not so distant past, that I was doing at least 3 miles every day. It was a little more challenging yesterday, but I did it. Of course, I needed a serious nap yesterday afternoon! You can see more pictures here and I'll add more next weekend when I get the ones taken on Mom's camera.
