Feelin' Hot Hot Hot!

One side effect of chemo I was really hoping to avoid is hot flashes. So much for that. It's not fun and I now understand all of the jokes about menopause. I hope this doesn't mean that I'm in "chemopause," but I really won't know that for another week or so. And of course I'd start experiencing hot flashes on the hottest day of the year, so far. This may be one of the worst parts of this whole mess.

Other than this latest indignity, not much is new here in cancer land. This time next week I'll be on my way to chemo #3. I'm looking forward to some fun this weekend, catching up with friends and family. Have a great weekend and a happy Mother's Day!
