Making A List, Checking It Twice
It all started out so innocently. I had a list of things to do. Then I decided to get a new job, take out a mortgage, buy a house, move out of my apartment and celebrate my one year cancerversary all at the same time. The list began to grow until it covered the front and back of multiple scraps of paper, notations scribbled in different color inks to catch my attention. Things were getting added faster than they were getting crossed off. Now, when I look at the list I'm so overwhelmed I don't know which thing to do first. So instead of accomplishing any of the tasks, I made a spreadsheet. Now I can prioritize and reprioritize until my heart's content. Every category can have it's own color without me having to keep up with 5 different pens. I know I'm a nerd, but I don't mind.
