Royal Flush

My latest project is trying to see how much fluid I have to consume before my eyeballs actually float. I've been hard at work since I left the hospital yesterday trying to flush out this kidney stone and I could tell when I woke up this morning that it had moved. Hopefully it will be gone soon because between the drinking and trips to the bathroom, I'm not getting much else done. The other complication to all of this drinking is the time I spend driving back and forth to the hospital every day for radiation. There's nothing like getting stuck on the Beltway with a full bladder. One of the ultrasound technicians was kind enough to tell me yesterday that my bladder was full and offered to show me what it looked like. I told him I was completely aware of how full it was, especially since he was pressing on it!

I have radiation number seven today- only 26 more to go! Tomorrow will be a day off from both work and radiation to celebrate July 4th and I'm going to go visit my favorite nephew Jackson!

Glad to hear that that pesky little bugger is moving...hopefully on its way out soon. I hate it when you are in pain. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Congratulations of becoming an aunt, Melissa!!
Thinking of you and glad that you are already chipping away at the radiation schedule. Before long you will have this behind you!
Take care, enjoy your day "off", and relish the time with your new nephew. :)

Hi Melissa,

Just visiting your blog from TeamGDT.

Congratulations on becoming an aunt - aunthood is a wonderful thing! All the pleasures of parenthood, but you can hand them back when they get smelly.

You have an amazing attitude. Best wishes for a successful, uneventful course of treatment!
