Say It Ain't So!

I was forced to buy nine boxes of oatmeal last night. The Kashi Go Lean! oatmeal that I eat every day has been discontinued. When I discovered this, I purchased every box Giant had. I realize this is a futile attempt to avoid the inevitable, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of finding a new nutritious and delicious breakfast. I've bought myself 72 days of denial, if nothing else.

In other news, I'm beginning to grow hair. So far, thankfully, it's only coming back on my head. I'm rather enjoying not shaving this summer. I've posted a picture below, but this is what it looks like five weeks post chemo. It just looks like my head is dirty, but the hair that has come in is really fine and soft. It feels like a kitten on the back of my head. Now I'm hoping for some density since there is still a lot of room for more hair to grow in. It looks like it's coming back darker than it was before and curlier, if that's possible. I'll try to post every few weeks so you can see the progress.
