Cabin Fever

I'm feeling a little bit of cabin fever. Last night Mom offered to take me to Winchester to shop for wigs and hats today, but when we got up it was raining and sleeting. Since I'm still not very steady on my feet, we decided this probably wasn't a good combination. The rain turned to snow and we have about 3 inches on the ground. Dad has pronounced it a blizzard. After my mid-day nap and celebrating UVA's victory in the opening round of the NCAA tournament, I did get to make a quick trip out to Food Lion. This small, and carefully supervised, trip proved to be a little more than I was ready for. I'm off to take another nap.

My soreness and stiffness is improving and I'm trying to force myself to move my arms a little more each day. I've taken less medicine for pain today and hope that I'll continue to be able to wean myself from it. I plan on going back to work on Monday, so hopefully things will continue to improve, otherwise, I don't know if I'll be able to drive myself there!

I just got in from Kentucky and I had to check in and see what was going on. I am continually amazed at how strong and brave you are. You continue to be in my prayers.

Hey, and the Hokies won, too!

We probably should have cleared this with you first, but I'm planning to come see you that night too! :) We didn't figure you would be planning too many weekend jaunts over the next few months so we're coming to see you! Just let us know if that night doesn't work! Love you!

you picked a VERY good time to stay indoors. You're certainly sounding better and I'm glad you got it over with sooner rather than later. Bayla wants to "do lunch"...me too.
Love,
Leslie
