Second Verse

Pretty much same as the first. I did manage to escape the first night nausea I experienced on the first round of chemo by starting the Compazine pretty much the minute I walked out of the doctor's office. But day four is here and it's not any kinder than it was on the first go round. I'm hoping the nausea will pass some time today and I can move on to just the fatigue. I'm pretty much through with being sick and tired.

Yesterday I had a nice visit from my college roomies Lorin and Jill and that was an excellent distraction. We sat on the back porch and enjoyed the spring weather and had a nice chat about boys, jobs and baldness. It was a much needed diversion for me and I really appreciate them making the trek over here to see me. Thanks, girls!

Today I'm working from home and waiting for the nausea to pass. Let's hope that happens soon.
